I fish from the boat and also offer wade fishing trips.  When fishing from the boat I use the trolling motor or the poling platform for working structure.  Drift fishing is another great way to fish the flats.  Here we drift across the flats and cast to the sand pockets for trout and redfish.  Wade fishing is usually done in 1 to 4 feet of water.  In the winter months, December through March you will need to bring a pair of neoprene or breathable waders and flats boots.  The rest of the year flats boots are all you will need to wade fish the flats.  

The shallow clear waters of the Laguna Madre are great for catching trout and redfish.  It's great to find yourself on Baffin Bay first thing in the morning.  Imagine the sun coming up over the horizon as you cast your lure to the edge of a rock and watch a big trout come up and hit it.  There are few things in fishing that compare to the excitement of hooking and fighting one of Baffin's big trout.  It is truly an experience that you will remember for years to come.

I offer three types of fishing, lures, live bait and fly.  Lures consist of soft plastic Bass Assassins, Mr. Twister Exude, Texas Trout Killers, Texas Redfish Killers, Kelley Wiggler and Bob Norton shrimp tails.  The top water and slow sinking lures are the Mirror-lure Top Dog, Catch 5, Catch 2000, Super Spook, and the Corky.  Live bait fishing is done with live shrimp, croaker and piggy perch.  For information about my fly fishing charters check out www.sightcast1.com/fly

PRICE: One or two people: $500.00 for three people: $600.00 for four people: $700.00.

DEPOSIT: A $100.00 deposit per day is required, deposit is refundable with a two week cancellation notice or if the charter is cancelled by weather.

THINGS YOU NEED TO BRING: Food, drinks, fishing license and saltwater stamp, polarized sunglasses, sun screen, hat and rain gear.

THINGS I PROVIDE: Rods, reels, lures, ice chest and ice.
